SaLT

SaLT (Satisfactory Layout Tool) is a simple program to be used in conjunction with the Coffee Stain Studios game Satisfactory to assist in planning and layouts.

About:

Using the tool you can experiment with different designs to create an efficient and aesthetically pleasing factory; or make a mess, your call.  At any stage you can export your designs into a text format that can be shared via a simple copy/paste to Discord, e-mail,  or other.  Importing a design is just as simple; paste the text and hit the Import button.

You have the ability to drag and drop all of the various buildings from Satisfactory and connect them via conveyors and pipes using a simple line-node based system.  Various colour options are available in the settings to cater for colour-blindness and style preferences which are saved between sessions.

You can use SaLT in the Itch.io web player above by using "Run Tool", or get the standalone Windows version by hitting the download button.  The primary development target is the standalone Windows version, so it may be more stable and up to date during development.

The tool is completely free, however I'm incredibly thankful for any donations made :)

Future content:

The tool is constantly growing, here are some elements that will hopefully make it into future releases: 

• More building graphics.
• Inclusion of verticality via use of multiple floors, which you can switch between.
• Full RGB colour choice for personalisation and accessibility.
• Walkways.
• Measurement system.
• Free draw/scribble/text facility.
• Styles and tool customisation.
• Selectable recipes and overclocking.
